Bhora Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Bhora handles information when you use the Bhora mobile application and related services.
1. Who operates Bhora
Bhora is a football scores and information application. For privacy questions or requests about your information, contact [email protected].
2. Information we handle
- Account information: if you register for Bhora Community, we process the username and authentication information you submit. Passwords should be stored in protected, non-plain-text form by the service.
- Community content: messages, comments, polls, and images you choose to submit to community features, together with the username and timestamps needed to operate those features.
- Preferences and follows: settings such as language and time format, and teams or matches you choose to follow where that feature is available. Some preferences may be stored on your device.
- Technical information: our hosting and network providers may process standard connection information such as IP address, request time, device/browser information and server logs when the app communicates with Bhora services.
3. How we use information
We use information to provide football fixtures, scores, standings, news and community features; authenticate users; display and moderate community content; remember app preferences; maintain service security; troubleshoot faults; and respond to support or deletion requests.
4. Sharing and service providers
Bhora uses hosting and infrastructure providers to operate its API and app services. Football data and news may be obtained from external data providers. When the app requests Bhora services, technical connection information is processed by the relevant network and hosting providers. We do not sell personal information. Community content that you submit may be visible to other users of the relevant community feature.
5. Notifications
If notification services are enabled in a release, the app or its notification provider may process a device/app token to deliver notifications. You can control notification permission through Android settings. The in-app notification preference only controls notification behavior that is supported by the installed release.
6. Data retention and deletion
We keep account and community information for as long as needed to operate the service, meet legitimate operational needs, and address security or abuse issues. You can request account deletion or removal of information associated with your account by emailing [email protected] from the email address you want us to use for the request, and include your Bhora username. We may ask for reasonable information to verify the request. Some records may remain for a limited period where required for security, legal compliance, or dispute resolution.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
8. Children
Bhora is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review the request.
9. Your choices
You can choose whether to create a community account, what content to post, and which optional permissions to grant through Android. You can clear temporary app cache from Settings. Clearing cache does not delete a community account or content stored on Bhora servers.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Bhora's features or legal requirements change. The updated version will be published at this page with a revised effective date.
11. Contact
